Support that reaches you at home
Six of our services can happen by video call, so where you live doesn’t have to decide what support you get. It’s the same one-on-one, evidence-informed, judgment-free care we offer in person — just on a screen, on your couch, at a time that works for your family.
Choose what you need, from wherever you are.
- Lactation Counseling Individualized counseling for breastfeeding/chestfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and relactation.
- Birth Planning & Preparation Focused one-on-one birth preparation without a full birth doula package.
- Private Birth Preparation A private 3-hour childbirth education intensive covering labor, birth, comfort strategies, interventions, and partner support.
- Postpartum Planning Personalized preparation for recovery, newborn care, feeding, rest, and building a postpartum support system.
- Postpartum & Newborn Preparation A private 2–3 hour class on postpartum recovery and the everyday realities of caring for a newborn.
- Infant Feeding Prep Inclusive prenatal feeding education for families planning to breastfeed/chestfeed, bottle feed, or combination feed.
Current rates are listed on each service’s page. Where a virtual session is priced differently, both prices are shown.
What a virtual session looks like.
- Sessions happen by video call on Google Meet. The link comes with your booking.
- You’ll want a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, and a spot where you can talk comfortably.
- For feeding sessions, it helps to have your baby nearby, along with whatever you’re using — a pump, bottles, or a nursing pillow — so we can look at it together.
- Partners and support people are welcome to join.
Virtual support is non-clinical, just like our in-person care. When something needs hands-on or clinical attention, I’ll say so and help you find the right provider — that’s a handoff, not a dead end.
Who can book virtually.
Online and virtual support is available more broadly than in-person care, for qualifying services. That includes families outside Pennsylvania, and in some cases outside the United States.
Birth Doula Support and Postpartum Doula Support are in-person services, centered in Philadelphia County and Dauphin County (the Harrisburg area), Pennsylvania, and their surrounding counties. The full service area is on the Contact page.
